// IN THE ETHER

THE WORD

Every design starts as a story. Sleepless nights, drunk carpentry, machine-gun maintenance, and tattoos in places that don't show up on maps. This is the lore.

// BRAND LORE · THE COMEBACK

THE SHOP IS GONE.
THE MISSION ISN'T.

Crux & Chaos was our anchor — a tin-roof tattoo operation where the flash on these shirts was born, one buzzing needle at a time. That chapter closed. The doors shut. The chairs went quiet.

Skin is shallow. Chaos is forever. A shop is just a building — the ink outlives the address.

So here's the deal, plain and simple: every piece of gear you grab from the Bone Collection funds the comeback. Every tee, every duffle, every flag on a garage wall gets us one step closer to flipping the OPEN sign on the next chair. When it happens, the people wearing this stuff were part of it — and yes, day-one supporters get first crack at the books.

Until then: swim in the chaos, wear the story, and stay rad.

CLEARED HAWT

Cleared Hawt

Many sleepless nights have been spent planning for the next mission or watching ISR feed. Doesn't matter if it is in training or deployed, the amount of time that goes into striking a target, INFIL/EXFIL, or overhead security and route clearance is immense. It's a vast amount of teamwork and timing that goes into every aspect of the operation — to have the right people in the right places doing the job makes all the difference.

This one goes out to a real G that makes shit happen. He was a valuable part of our team and he is still out there putting in work. He taught me a lot and has a huge amount of my work on his skin. This was a custom piece that was artist's choice, performed in a tin box in Africa. It was an honor to tattoo him and a great time I'll never forget. If you ever run into a man with this tattoo — he is great at his job, and he is who you want dropping American tax dollars on those that deserve to die.

BUILT TO DESTROY

Built to Destroy

This was the beginning of a radical time with great friends. Whatever you're doing, make sure you take some time to stop and take pictures. This was taken the night we decided to take 12 hours to build a half pipe. We drank Jailor Serry's rum and used power tools the whole night. We had absolutely no regard for my neighbor's peace. We finished at 0630 on a Saturday morning and immediately started ripping it up.

Now let me tell you, the angle on this pipe was steep. We did not research the best way to build a half pipe — we just followed raw instinct. Boy oh boy was it a ride. A stiff transition to say the least. It would buck you off lickety-split.

It was a good thing we were drunk, because you needed it to stay flexible and bounce off the OSB plywood. The construction madness started when we used scrap wood to build a quarter pipe. Once that was built it just wasn't enough, so we had to go all the way. Did people get hurt on this? Yes. Of course they did. But God was it fun. Now every time I look at this picture it takes me back to simpler times. May we keep on rolling.

Cuz adrenaline is the meanest drug.
// FEB 3, 2025 · HEADSPACE SET

TIMING IS EVERYTHING

M2A1 .50 caliber machine gun

The picture shown is an M2A1 .50 caliber machine gun. It has a set headspace and timing, which makes it difficult to adjust on the fly. In different environments it needs to be reset — and if you don't have the tools or the training, you need someone else to take care of it. In a rapidly changing battlefield, that takes away the user's ability to fix the problem on the spot. The M2 is still king.

What is headspace and timing?

Headspace is the distance between the bolt face and the chambered round when the action is locked. Too tight and the round won't chamber right. Too loose and the cartridge can rupture — catastrophic failure. Timing is when the weapon fires in the cycle. Too early or too late means misfires, cook-offs, or a wrecked gun.

Why the gauge matters

Experienced machine gunners know: trust the gauge, not your luck. A well-timed M2 lays down accurate suppressive fire. A misadjusted one jams at the worst possible moment. The Ma Deuce has served for nearly a century, and proper headspace and timing will keep her dominating for another one.

LIFE IS PAIN. PAIN IS FREE.

Life is Pain. Pain is Free.

Life is pain. Pain is free. Words that many find bleak — yet they hold a fundamental truth about the human experience. Pain is inevitable, a relentless force we cannot escape. But beyond its discomfort, pain serves a deeper purpose: it fuels fear, and fear, in turn, sculpts our lives in both good and bad ways.

Pain: the constant teacher

Pain comes in many forms — physical, emotional, psychological. The searing sensation of touching fire, the heartbreak of lost love, the despair of failure. Regardless of its nature, pain teaches lessons no other experience can. Through suffering we learn our limits, our desires, and what we must avoid to survive and thrive. And pain is more than a teacher — it's a motivator. When we experience distress, we instinctively seek to prevent its recurrence. That's where fear enters the equation.

Fear: the sculptor

Fear, driven by pain, dictates much of our behavior. It shapes how we interact, the risks we take, the dreams we pursue or abandon. It can be both a guardian and a prison. On one hand it protects us — warning us off dangerous situations and toxic relationships. On the other, when it becomes overwhelming, it paralyzes us. It keeps us stuck in comfort zones. The greatest minds have all battled fear — what sets them apart is the willingness to confront it rather than submit to it.

Harnessing both

If pain is inevitable and fear unavoidable, the key lies in the response. Growth happens when we push beyond our fears and embrace the discomfort. The most profound achievements — personal, professional, artistic — are born from suffering. Every great story is filled with adversity; it's the protagonist's ability to overcome fear that leads to triumph.

Life is pain, but pain is not meaningless. It fuels fear, and fear, understood and confronted, becomes a tool for sculpting a life of purpose and resilience. The key to life isn't the absence of pain and fear — it's the courage to navigate through them. Beyond them lies a life truly worth living.

This marks the beginning of our existence as a company. It has been a long time coming, but now we get to rage in the experience. It is an exploration of a deep sub-culture of tattoos and the machines that make up some of the most lethal fighting groups in the world. It is where the steel is sharpened and thresholds are pushed every day.

It is our duty as human beings to find the edge of our conscious minds and expand our potential and capabilities. With that, we build our bodies as temples of hyper-performance and then thrust them into destruction. We come back with many scars — but there are those scars that we decorate our bodies with that tell our story. All of our designs symbolize the time and the place of our experiences.

May my heart bleed on my sleeve as we tell our story. This is Syanide & Sabotage.
